Ad agency LeDouze is hosting the photographic works of Julien Palast’s series
Skin Deep in Paris offices. The images are glossy representations of bodies set in bas relief by shiny, shrink-wrapped latex. The photos are set against a colorway of glossy purple, blue, pink and orange shades with the latex pulled tight across them. The purpose is to unveil bodies as objects, be they male or female. The images are erotic in nature and exotic in color. I find the detail highlighted by the latex revealingly restrained.
